On the Oregon Statewide In-Service Day, the Japanese American Museum of Oregon is hosting a free museum tour for educators on Friday, October 14th at 1:30 pm. We are also offering free admission to educators during our regular business hours that day (11 am – 3 pm). Oregon In-Service Day for Educators: This tour will be designed with educators in mind. We will demonstrate what we cover in a school tour of the museum and share resources that may be helpful for teaching Japanese American history in the classroom. You will also get a chance to check out our new exhibition, Resilience – A Sansei Sense of Legacy. Since space is limited, we request that you RSVP to reserve your spot for the tour. Reservations are not needed just to visit.
