Ikebana Demonstration

Enjoy a demonstration of the art of ikebana at the Japanese American Museum of Oregon on Saturday, March 16. Diane Sayrizi of the Ohara School of Ikebana will be leading the presentation in the museum’s library. Space is limited, so please be sure to register below. The event is free with museum admission and free for Friends of JAMO.

About Diane

Diane Sayrizi has been practicing ikebana for 13 years and holds an Associate 2nd term Masters Certificate from the Ohara School. She is the secretary of the Ohara Oregon Chapter of Ikebana in Portland and a member of Ikebana International and the North American Ohara Teachers Association. Diane has presented demonstrations and exhibited her works at the Japanese Garden as well as exhibited at the Portland Art Museum. For her, ikebana is a life-long passion and learning experience and she is eager to share this traditional art with others.
