Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22
Yachats, Oregon
Trip Details:
-Meet at Adobe Resort in Yachats on Saturday, October 21, 9:00 am.
-$50 event fee covers orientation, guided mushroom collecting in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. Participants are responsible for their own lunches.
-Participants are responsible for securing their own Forest Passes for the Siuslaw National Forest (can be obtained at most sporting goods stores or www.fs.usda.gov/main/r6/passes-permits/recreation)
-October 20-22 is the annual Yachats Mushroom Festival with many additional events and exhibits.

Lodging:
-Lodging at the Adobe Resort can be reserved at a special rate of $150 plus tax for a non-ocean view room. A block of rooms is being held (until October 1st) under the name “Japanese American Museum of Oregon/JAMO” and may be reserved for Friday and/or Saturday nights.
-Lodging costs are not included in the event fee. Participants are responsible for securing their own rooms:

As in all harvests, the weather may dictate a change in plans, and the abundance of the harvest varies from year to year. Sign up to join us and be kept fully up to date.

Carpooling: If you have space for riders or would like a ride, please indicate when you would leave and how many spaces you have and we will attempt to accommodate your request.
