May 6, 1942 life changed forever when Japantown disappeared. Today we welcome you to our permanent home. Today we remember and celebrate our presence in the heart of Portland.

Not only is the museum getting a facelift, but coming soon the website is as well!  Follow us on social media to track the upcoming launch of the new JAMO.org website. Meanwhile, continue to visit us online at www.oregonnikkei.org

Donate today to our Lighting The Legacy Campaign and advance the mission of our organization!

Your contribution will help us continue to educate the public about the Nikkei experience and to preserve the history and culture of Japanese Americans of the Pacific Northwest.

Additionally your donations allow us to engage younger generations to ensure that history is not forgotten and call attention and understanding to important civil rights issues.

Your gift funds our priorities today and moving forward.
It is both urgent and enduring.

Gifts of $100 and above (and received no later than May 15th) will be acknowledged on our Donor wall at our new space.
